MORRIS OXFORD diesel CREAM 1968 TAX EXEMPT

MORRIS OXFORD 1968 (tax exempt) DIESEL CONVERTED IN THE 1970s 1500cc bmc engine  WHEN WE HAD THAT FUEL SHORTAGE haha ' WIFE SAYS IT HAS TO GO as i have to many projects on the Go. NOT LONG HAD IT thought i could get away with hideing it  but she clocked it in the corner of my shed and guess what ?  i Have known the oxford since about 1988 when a friend of mine bought it and he has owned it since 88'  i've now bought it off him a few months ago thinking of restoring it'but being realistic i suppose she(wife) is correct (wont get it done for yrs) So it's up for Sale or what you got ?Woops'' THE CAR STARTS RUNS AND DRIVES ENGINE is a Bmc 1500cc and was rebuilt by him approx 15yrs ago' He also had the injectors reconditiond in 2007 when he last used it on the road. it could do with some bodywork and a respray' Tyres are all good also the BRAKES NEED CHECKING AS IT HAS NOT MOVED A LOT SINCE THEN(2007) ONLY IN HIS YARDTO KEEP THEM FROM STICKING' CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER SOMETIMES GOES HARD (could do with bleeding i think there is a new old stock master cyl & slave in the spares that go with the car i think) . river side rear door sticks' hard to open sometimes needs adjusting'all in all could do with a few bits and bobs doing to it to be good . here is a big box of spares (very heavy) brake drums. shoes. trims to much to list here  also a couple of front seats. 3 doors . andles etc etc. nbsp; New battery also fitted to it last year' You would best be addvised to come and have a look at it to see what you are buying' few days work you could be driving about in it? it does need a couple of patches welding to front valance (corners) and front driver side floor pan and a bit near the handbrake just under the d/seat'there is no Welding needed to the chassis as far as i can see as it's been well oiled & greased underneath for yrs to try and keep it from the dreaded rust. all lights work even the indicator green one' horn did work now it doesent could be a fuse ' you are welcome to come and view it and would be in your interest to do so please remember the old morris is 45yrs old and Really Does Deserv to be saved' WHERE WOULD YOU FIND ANOTHER DIESEL MORRIS OXFORD(still says petrol in log book v5 up to you if you want to change it to diesel ) would be a good Talking point in All the shows i think . NO PAY PAL CASH ON COLLECTION ONLY THANKS FOR LOOKING any more info txt or call me on 07831201898 Hugh  . nbsp;       JUST HAD A QUICK LOOK UNDERNEATH THE CAR ON A RAMP THERE IS A COUPLE OF PATCHES TO WELD UNDER DRIVER FOOTWELL AND A PLATE WHICH IS WITH THE CAR TO BE WELDED AGAIN ON DRIVER SIDE NEAR THE HANBRAKE ALSO THE FRONT VALANCE COULD DO WITH A NEW ONE OR REPAIR THE 2 CORNER ENDS' I WOULD THINK TO DO THE JOB PROPERLY WOULD TAKE ABOUT 6/8HRS WORK THE MAIN CHASSIS IS ALL VERY GOOD AS ARE THE OTHER FLOOR PANS' SILLS I THINK HAVE BEEN DONE NOT THAT LONG AGO IN MY OPPINION A GOOD WEEKENDS WORK COULD SEE THE CAR ON THE ROAD & TEST ON IT ? i Have just been told by my friend that the engine is a 'Bmc 1500cc' So there you go.        JUST HAD AN OFFER OF £1400 & £1475 BUT I THINK THE CAR IS WORTH AT LEAST £1600 EVERY DAY SO I AM DROPPING THE PRICE TO £1600 OVNO or I MIGHT AS WELL WELD IT AND PUT 12 MONTHS TEST ON IT' WHATS IT WORTH THEN ???
