For sale is my mildly modified Morris Minor.

It looks and drives just like an original but has lots of hidden upgrades to keep it suitable for the modern road.

a 1275 engine mated to a stronger later model 4 speed box. with 'performance' carburettor and exhaust (by 1960's standards!) which is fitted with electronic ignition and a spark booster. it has safety modifications to match. Proper headlights and a reversing light; servo assisted brakes. anti roll bar and of course four inertia reel seat belts.

There are also heated front and rear windscreens. electric wipers and a stronger battery to power it all. I have even fitted a larger fuel tank so you don't have to stop so often. though stopping is always a pleasure as it is inevitably a chance to chat about the car with someone.

As far as I know the mileage is 93. 00. I have put on the last 20. 00 myself. and am responsible for the restoration and modifications; however mileage is academic on a car of this age - condition is all.

She has not a trace of structural rust on her. has been meticulously maintained by a professional mechanic and has had many parts renewed so that everything is solid and reliable. Cosmetically she is sound. everything polishes up nicely and I have even had the front seats reupholstered and put new door cards and carpet in.

The car is one of the rare 'crossover' models. featuring some of the early split screen model characteristics such as 'clap hand' wipers and the beautiful chrome spoked steering wheel. I have driven her from the Channel coast to John O Groats. used her as a wedding car and generally had more enjoyment from this car than I probably should! However. I am forced to sell to pay for the new roof that now adorns my house. so my hardship is your opportunity.
