It is with great regret that I have decided to sell my lovely 1936 series 1 Morris Eight as I don't really want to. I had a go selling a few months ago but had a change of hart so cancelled the listing. sorry to everyone.   I spent a long time hunting to find this car and was over the moon when I eventually found exactly what I wanted. It took me many months and lots of travelling seeing OK and not so OK cars. She is a two door fixed head with luggage rack. All lights work. rear lights are new bright LED's. the semaphores but could do with brighter bulbs or the new flashing LED bulbs.

I have recently lost my garage so for the last few months she has been safe and sound on my driveway protected by probably the best breathable car cover money can buy. this will go with the car. I am in no rush to sell the Morris. if I can find a suitable garage to keep her I will be withdrawing her from sale and enjoy a few more years of ownership.
In my ownership I have not driven her much. just to and from the garage and up and down the road. she drives well stops well and starts well. Couple of months ago I bought her a new 6v battery and got the starter reconditioned. The cars is now on SORN so I will not be able to take you for a spin but you would be able to go backwards and forwards on the large driveway.
This car has been fully restored back in the late 1980's or early 1990's and still looks fantastic. The paint still shines. the whole car is in incredible condition.
I have been trying to find the history of the car but cant find much before 1982 when the car was sold to it's second owner and the restorer of the car. I have managed to acquire a few photos of the car after it's restoration and with it's second owners car collection. I understand the car was only sold after the second owners death as it was his favourite.
I have contacted the Cumbria County Council to see if they could shed any light on it's early history as this was the area that it was first registered. They were very helpful and sent me a letter stating when the car was registered and to who.
I have included in this listing almost 70 large detail photos to show what fantastic condition it is in. Please be aware that the car was restored over 25 years ago so will have a couple of very minor defects but I have shown everything in the photos.
