1974 Austin Allegro 1750 SS One of only 2 in existence
Welcome to a very special auction. Here I am offering a great opportunity to the highest bidder to become the owner of this very rare car. This car has recently come into my possession after the last owner sadly passed away. This car had been in their possession since they purchased it. brand new. on 4th November 1974 from Charles Clark and Sons. Wolverhampton - and I know this because I have the original bill of sale. As you can see from the pictures it does require restoration. mainly body work. I haven't tried to start the car due to it being locked away in a garage since 1995. It came with a suitcase which I call Pandoras box because inside it contains the complete history of everything that was done throughout her life. it has the log book. all original MOT's and work completed. also hand written information by the owner. all receipts. spare keys. owners handbook and radio manual in the original envelope. even the insurance documents. nbsp;the specification brochure. AA members wallets. the last tax disc is still on the car dated 1995. it's endless and incredible. The black vinyl roof is in tact and the interior is good - no rips or tears. it has the infamous Quartic steering wheel. On doing some research I discovered on how many left. co. uk there is only one listed/registered in the country - no body new about this one!!Also check out Adrian Flux - the surprising story of Britains rarest car's. the Austin Allegro SS is one of them.     
I believe from my research. that this car is one of only two left in the country - possibly the world ??? The Allegro is now in safe storage in the Walsall Wood area of the West Midlands. if you require any more information please send me a message with your phone number.
