Brand New 4. 2 Litre Engine and Overdrive Gear Box
This Is A 1964 Jaguar D-Type. Has been owned by my farther for 15 years and is now for sale due to moving abroad.
This Fantastic Replica has had no money spared on it. Just completed a full running gear rebuild including new Gearbox and overdrive. Complete engine which only has the best parts supplied by the highest regarded suppliers in the U. K. Also the chassis was completely stripped and taken back to bare metal. was then under sealed and painted so is in the best condition possible.
This is a very rare oppurtuinty to own a bit of racing and Le Mans history. The Original D-Types won the Le Mans 24 hr Race 3 years in a row between 1955-57

Is powered by a 4. 2 litre XK engine tuned to 395 BHP. featuring triple weber carburettors and coupled to a Brand New four- speed all synchromesh manual/ overdrive gearbox. Constructed around a tubular- steel backbone spaceframe chassis. Roadsters D-Type features steel- braced glassfibre bodywork in the long nose. long fin. passenger- carrying style with full width windscreen first seen on gear. the works Le Mans cars in 1955. while the wheels. lights and instruments are said to be to correct specification. Based exclusively on Jaguar running
