1963 Split window single cab utility This car has been completely rebuilt from the ground up the pictures do not do it justice its done 2500 miles since completion. The restoration was completed over 3 years with the process photographed outlining each stage of the restoration. I purchased the car 7 years ago off a farm in NSW requiring a full restoration. The original car was very rust free and an excellent start point. I've listed here an overview of specs and work done but can go into more detail with serious buyer over the phone or when you inspect Body Panel and paint All replacement panels and body work done profesionally. two pack paint done in Hell Blau (a VW blue) and Alabaster white. Engine 1600 Twin Port. Dual Kadron carburetors. CSP linkages. Electronic ignition. Electric fuel pump. New chromed Alternator and Starter. basically everything in the engine has been replaced. Deep cycle battery. fatboy exhaust. Wheels Chrome fuchs. new tyres low profile Suspension/running gear 4 inch Narrowed beam with adjusters to raise and low the vehicle. new munro gas shocks all round. IRS (Independent rear suspension). Disc brake front end drum rear all rebuilt. Interior Original seats re trimmed with customised and lowered drivers seat. I purchased the leather hides and supplied them to the trimmer absolutely beautiful seats to sit in. re trimmed doors and kick panels. New electrics. rebuild speedo. aftermarket steering wheel. retro digital radio. Safari front windows. Gearbox L-bug box 4 speed rebuilt General. All chrome restored or replaced. Bay window fuel tank restored (larger fuel capacity). Rear gates are reproduction with many hours spent by the painters colour sanding and straightening. new OEM german tail lights. original headlights restored. restored original bullets indicatiors. original restored front badge.
