Award winning 1940 La Salle Coupe' reluctantly for sale. Total restoration to original specifications completed in 2001: engine. mechanical. upholstery and paint. Recipient of 1 st Place Award at the Cadillac-La Salle Club Grand National held in Denver that year. The car has approximately 4000 miles since restoration was completed.
The 1940 Series 52 marked the last model produced under the La Salle marque. Only 3000 of this model were produced by GM that year. This fine example was equipped with a working deluxe heater. original AM radio. and side mirrors. A magnificent touring vehicle. the car operates beautifully at highways speeds of 75 m. p. h. for lengthy periods.
This wonderful classic car is equipped with radial tires and seat belts for safety. No rust or other worries. With proper care. this car should run for years!
