VERY UNIQUE OPERA SEAT COUPE WITH DUAL SIDE MOUNTED SPARES! REAR JUMP SEATS. 3-SPEED TRANSMISSION. AND MORE! LAST OF THIS MODEL DESIGN! GREAT COLOR COMBINATION! SPECIFICATIONS Year 1938 Make Cadillac LaSalle Model Series 50 Opera Seat Coupe VIN 2275433 Mileage 77. 35 Engine 322ci Cylinders V8 Transmission 3-speed manual Title Clear Color Burgundy Interior Color Gold/Gray Cloth DESCRIPTION After a banner year of sales. LaSalle made only modest changes to their design in 1938. Called the Series 38-50. it now showcased long. bullet shaped headlights now set low in the front end sheet metal between the hood and pontoon fenders. massive die-cast vertical grille. and horizontal hood ventilation panels stretching the entire length of the hood.

We couldn't be more pleased to present this wonderful 1938 LaSalle Series 50 Opera Coupe finished in classic Burgundy over a Gold & Light Gray cloth interior! Featuring its original 322ci V8 engine and 3-speed column shift transmission. it continues to drive as well today as when new! Showing only 77. 35 miles on the odometer. it is likely original mileage to this very well kept example! Options include the very rare side-mounted spare front fenders. wide whitewall Firestone Deluxe Champion tires. AM radio with running board antennas. original gauge instrumentation (auxiliary temp gauge located under the dash). front & rear bumper guards. and an original heater/defrost system (no longer present in the cabin). along with two center-facing opera seats for additional rear passengers!

This engine produced a factory rated 125 horsepower. and was an engine well balanced to the size of the LaSalle's 124” wheelbase. With faithful Carter carburetion and an upgraded electric fuel pump. it starts and runs confidently! It comes from prior ownership of 24 years through its former Kansas owner. He maintained this wonderful machine alongside a modest collection of other vehicles that were all driven and enjoyed regularly. The car originally hails from the Pacific Northwest. where it was obviously well sheltered and dry all its life. The body and chassis remain in very good. solid condition showing as original throughout. The exterior paint and interior were definitely restored. probably in the mid-1980's to our best estimate. and continue to show well and remain very presentable. Please feel free to call with additional questions. or to schedule an opportunity to see this vehicle firsthand! We believe it to be an outstandingly unique opportunity to the astute pre-war car collector! Thanks for looking!
