Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this 1940 La Salle.

La Salle was a brand of automobiles manufactured and marketed by General Motors' Cadillac division from 1927 through 1940.

This one is the last year of the model and is the most sought after.

In its final years. the La Salle once again became more Cadillac-like in its appearance and details.

This La Salle is extremely custom & very cool looking with its dark gray paint matched to the blacked-out grille & trim really makes this street rod stand out from the crowd.

This car started out as a barn find that was stripped down to the bare body. sandblasted & epoxy primered.

It was then built completely from the ground up sparing no expense.

The car has been freshly professionally repainted in February of 2017 in the dark gray paint you see today and the finish is excellent.

Powering this hotrod down the road is a 454 CID V 8 that shakes the ground as it commands the road. Paired to that V 8 monster is a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears as you cruise down the road.

Both the engine & transmission have both been recently rebuilt with only 500 miles on them since that was completed so this car has been barely broken in with many miles ahead of it! Looking towards the interior you will find a vinyl two-tone seats & custom center console complete with CD player & cup holders mounted in it.

The dash is custom & is paint matched to the car with Dolphin gauges & warning lights installed.

The trunk has been finished as well with the same two-tone scheme with fitted carpet.

The car sits on American racing wheels wrapped in Falken tires with plenty of tread left on them.

Other features on this car include CD player with AM/FM radio. power steering. tilt steering wheel. & vinyl interior.
