This bus is featured in the March issue of VW Camper & Commercial Magazine. before I decided to sell it.
I am the 4 th owner and have owned the vehicle since 2001. it was imported in 1994 and currently the mileage is 245. 00 kilometres. It is taxed till May and the MOT is until Jan 2014
I planned to keep the vehicle indefinitely. so it has been maintained and improved accordingly. however I have now bought a Syncro.
The South African spec and powerful engine makes these versions of the T 3/T 25 by far the nicest to drive. with a luxurious interior compared to most European versions. This vehicle can be used for camping as is or converted to make a unique 'full camper' of your own specification. Whatever your plans for it you will be buying a vehicle in fantastic condition at a bargain price that has been maintained and upgraded with no expense spared.
It is entirely original and everything works. The bodywork was restored and repainted by Resto Classics in 2011. images of work are available.
The South African specification includes: 5 speed gearbox. Electric windows. electric mirrors. intermittent wipers. central locking. alarm with immobiliser. reclining front seats with armrests. 3 of the rear side windows are slide opening. the windscreen has a top tint and built in aerial. air conditioning. rock and roll rear seat / bed. The 2 nd row of seats are a pair with a 3 rd that folds to form a table. They are currently not fitted in the van but come with it. It has original South African 15' ‘Starburst' alloy wheels.
It has a complete service and repair history with copies of all receipts for work and parts also most MOT certificates and tax discs. The original owners manual and dealer info are complete in the VW plastic wallet.
It has a stainless steel exhaust and new front window channel rubbers. interior air fan. a new petrol tank. fuel pump and front heater matrix were fitted in the last few months. There is a second battery system under the passenger seat. with a new 'main' battery fitted last year.
Some of the items appearing in the images may not be sold with the van (e. g. seat covers) as they were presents I will transfer to my new van.
