DKW F7 Auto-union Cabriolet. Convertible 4 seater. for sale

A 1937 (Registered 1938) DKW F 7 Auto-Union. cabriolet four seats. From Auto Union (DKW. Wanderer. Audi and Horsh). This car has a two stroke two cylinder engine of only 692 cc but drives like it has a 1100 cc power unit. Front wheel drive transmission with three forward gears. The body section is built of ply on an ash frame and leather cloth covered.
A fairly rare car now although many were made an exported from Germany like this right hand drive example. Great fun to drive.
Pulls and climbs hills amazingly well.
In good general condition. The frame is in remarkably good. sound condition. The fabric covering has has some repairs and patching. All the wings are good and rust free although look to have had minor repairs. The paint is OK with some patina. The seats are good as is the hood. The engine pulls strongly and is good. There was some overheating problems but with the radiator overhaul this seems to have gone. Tyres with plenty of tread except the spare which is just OK. Chrome fair. Currently on a SORN but only 50 miles since last MOT. Last used 1 year ago. Not a show car but a presentable. unusual and attractive vehicle. Only being sold due to lack of space.
