This vehicle runs and drives perfectly. both engines and transmissions are in great condition and have absolutely no issues.
The M 24 uses 2 Cadillac Series 44 T 24 8 Cylinder engines.
What's nice is numerous parts can be found at your local automotive store for this motor.
This M 24 has been in too many events to mention over the last several years and has always run flawlessly.
The interior needs a restoration. which is why this tank is priced so low. it would mostly be a "remove. sand-blast. paint. re-install job".
As with all my vehicle sales - visits are highly recommended. but in cases where this is not possible I am more than willing to
take additional video or photographs of specific parts and pieces where needed. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE!!!!
This tank is pictured on page 51 of Thomas Berndt's book "American Tanks of World War II"
I have numerous sets of spare rubber track available. the tracks on the tank are worn.
Since this always get asked in a question. I am highlighting it so folks don't miss it :
GUN INFORMATION
The main gun that is installed has been de-milled and is only the barrel. no breech.
The tank also comes with a LIVE 75 mm Barrel and LIVE Registered Breech.
Proper Transfer required.
To recap : I have 2 barrels but only one breech
The installed 75 mm barrel is demilled with no breech
And I have a live 75 mm barrel and registered breech not installed in the tank.
The exterior was repainted 2 years ago but the vehicle has been used extensively in parades and shows and the paint reflects that use.
The interior requires a full restoration if show-room quality is desired.

That being said. the tank is ready to use and run as is without any changes as long as you want.
I estimate that for 20-25 k this vehicle could be put into showroom perfect condition.
This is a turn-key tank though. you don't have to do a thing to drive it off the trailer and use it as much as you want right away.
