This auction is for two 1936 La Salle's. I have a convertible coupe and a sedan. They are being sold as a pair. I bought the convertible a while ago and I needed parts to restore it and I found this 1936 sedan and bought it as a parts donor car. hich it is actually too nice to be. for the restoration of the convertible. The convertible needs a complete restoration done and the sedan is incredibly solid with no rust and has most all the parts the convertible is missing. The sedan spent all its life in California. The rust you see on the sedan is only surface rust. The interior on the sedan is all original. in great condition. and is the same material the convertible was ordered with. The tan color you see on the sedan is the original color. it had a repaint to a maroon color. The whole front clip and rear fenders from the sedan will swap over to the convertible. Every part on the sedan is the same as on the convertible except for the sedan specific parts. The sedan was a running and driving car a few years ago. I have had the sedan engine running. All the electrics work on the sedan. even the fuel gauge. The convertible's top mechanism is there along with all the original wood to make patterns for new. The convertible has a complete driveline and the engine is free but I have not had it running. I have clear titles for both cars and they are located in Central Illinois. The La Salle was considered Cadillac's companion car. they are a Cadillac with some different sheetmetal. The build quality of these cars is fantastic. When these cars were new you could buy 3 fords for the price of one of these La Salles. Here is your chance to own a very rare convertible. one just sold at a recent auction for $98. 00. My reserve is very reasonable considering the rarity of these cars.
