1976 Triumph Stag 3. 0 V 8 -
78 k miles. overhauled front suspension. brakes. power steering. 12 Months MOT
Selling on behalf of a good friend who is very reluctant to let it go. but family commitments and lack of space mean it has to go.

General condition
The car has a new MOT which it passed without issues. No advisories. It drives well and the OD gearbox works well. Engine runs well.
However. the car has only recently been brought out of storage. and has not been used for a few years. This is nearly 40 years old. so please remember that like all classic cars it will need care to keep it running well and if you don't know much about Stags. please read up before you bid so you know what you are buying. It has not had a full restoration. and will need further work to improve it. particularly around the wheel arches and paintwork. I have tried to describe the car honestly and accurately. but the only way to really appreciate what you are buying is to view it for yourself.

Body work
Generally sound but note following:
Some rust/bubbling on wheel arches - check photos. Will need work to bottom of rear wing panel
Small dent near driver door
Paint work: Looks OK from a distance but ideally will need a respray.

Chrome: Generally OK but some pinholes - check photos
Interior: good condition. driver seat has small split
Hard top: generally in good condition Carpet: Generally ok Aerial:- Broken and will need replacing Hood :- Reasonable/good condition. Rear screen reasonably clear but is a little stiff. so care is needed when collapsing the hood.

Mechanicals
Ignition: Lumenition
Engine: Triumph V 8 Starts/ runs well with good power and no overheating. No oil leaks
Transmission: Gearbox with Overdrive all in good working order. No leaks
Exhaust : stainless steel
Electrics: All working
Tyres: OK

New parts fitted.
New battery - very high 550 cranking amps! with Halfords guarantee. Reconditioned PAS rack Reconditioned PAS pump New high and low pressure hoses Lower leg overhaul (both sides):New shocks (standard) springs (standard) and associated parts New poly bushes all suspension (except rubber on lower leg stay to chassis)New track rod ends Brakes. Front brake caliper overhauled (incl new pistons) and ss braided hoses. Rear brake cylinder and ss braided hoses Silicone brake fluid fitted.

Misc:
Spare keys Spare drive belt. Owners manual. Parts catalogue. Operation and Maintenance Manual included History files: MOT certs. parts receipts etc.
