1951 HENRY J DRAG CAR -- PRO STREET

This car was built to race at goodguys. we went 3 times twice with the motor that is in the car now . irst time it went 9. 40 and we got rained out. second time it did go 9. 20 but had to write 10. 00 on the window because of no license. Never really got it dialed in had to shift at 6. 00 to get to slow down still ran a 9. 50 . And goodguys stoped coming to indy so the car has been in my shop starting it once a month and warming it up. Don't ask about 60 ft times because I don't remember. Now about the car its a tube chassis 14 pt cage bought from jegs and welded-up . oil over front a-arms. rear is a fab 9 housing with spax double adjustable shocks mosier center section daytona support 4:30 gears on a spool strange axles with 5/8 studs. It has wilwood 4 piston calibers all around wilwood hubs and rotors all 4 corners 12'' in rear 11'' in front . Motor is a 548 gm performance block with eagle rotating assy. 13. 5 compression dart 345 heads with roller rockers and girdles . am is a comp cam 714 solid roller with there lifters edelbrock intake 1095 king deamon carb. msd distributor with 6 al box. electric water pump. fuel is supplied by mega 500 fuel pump and filter in rear. 5/8 fuel line . 12 gal fuel cell . laming river shut off in rear. it is set up for 2 optima batterys . as 1 now The motor was dynoed at 880 hp but I don. think I have the paper work? All the interior is aluminum from chris alston it does have power windows and real glass auto meter gauges . orgot the trany its a powerglide with vasco internals and a brake deep pan with temp gauge u-joints are 3250 steel driveshaft . tainless steering colunm billet wheel and pinto rack. hutsr shifter with line lock. has rci cam lock belts which are out dated. but rci will re-certify for 60 ea. no sticker on the car never got time but it always made it through nhra tech at the drags. Front wheels are moroso with draglites. rear are pro stars with goodyear 31. 5 x 14. 5 101 roll=out slicks . I do have xtra rear tires and rims that are draglites with 33 x 16 x 102 rollout. Car goes straight and fast stops with no issues. it has front motor plate and mid motor plate and touque arm. convertor is 8 inch 5000 stall . as going to put this on the street when I was done racing . it has a good 53 ohio title. turn signals and headlights . . verybody said I needed a wing but it never tried to fly?? maybe a chute once its on tune probaly forgot a lot it is a nice car any questions call
