Current customer rating:
Up for auction is a newly rebuilt Ford 2 door coupe with a 41 nose and a 47 merc dash . I got this car from a friend of a friend that lost interest in it and was sitting in his garage for a couple of years. When I got it home I gave it a good cleaning inside and out. The body (all solid) and paint are in great condition with really nice pin stripping all around the car inside and out. I got the car in pieces with the engine and transmission out of the car and the front fenders and hood off the car. The last owner had the front frame. front suspension and fire wall degreased and sand blasted and looks like new. I edged primed it and painted it flat black to match the car and looks really good as pictured. Car has new n. o. s inner fender wells all painted flat black. The engine is all rebuilt with new piston and rings 30 over. reground crank and reconditions rods with all new bearings. Rebuilt oil pump. All new valve train with all new hard seats so you can run unleaded gas. New mild cam with new gears. New Edelbrock heads and all new studs and nuts. New clutch assembly and machined fly wheel. New water pumps and fuel pump. All new tune-up and coolant hoses. stats and belts. The tranny was check and resealed and shifts like butter. Car has all new motor and tranny mounts. new Offenhauser intake manifold with twin rebuilt Holley 94's and all new throttle linkages. I installed a rebuilt starter and the motor is all broken in and runs like a dream. Runs nice in cool too. I had to do all brakes on the car and I installed all new brake parts not rebuilt like new master cylinder. all wheel cylinders. hoses and brake shoes plus new dot 4 fluid. Car stops on a dime and the E-brake holds great. All the lights work and gages work and speed-o works. I put in a new 6 V battery and new cables with new battery hold down (Car is still 6 Volts). The car has all new bias ply wide whit big and little tires with new bullet center caps. This car runs and drives great and also has 3” shackle drop front and read for that nice low stance. The only thing this car could use is a new head liner the old one is starting to deteriorate. Car has no blinkers or seats belts and no heater. The vacuum wiper works but is not hook up. Car comes with a CT bill of sale only and has the matching vin number on the frame and top of tranny. If you have any questions or want to see the car in person please call Loren at . Thanks for looking.
