YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A LEGEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very very easy project to finish!!!! Ready for the summer
Not your average 4 seater beetle convertible…… This is a stunning head turner as you can see and TAX exempt !!!!!!
Now this is a very rare opportunity to own a bit of VW history and I mean rare!!!!!!!!!!!
(Peter Cheesemans of Wizard Roadster's UK's promo / Demonstrator and show car) past show car. cover car. and heavily photographed back in the day 95-99 even Volksworld borrowed it to do Run to the Sun in !!!!!! magazines to prove !!!!
So the story so far
Way back in the day I was heavily into the VW scene (95 to 99) and I had the pleasure to own a 66 resto cal that was stunning and was built by me and my family. At that time the internet wasn't a huge thing so the main source of parts were through local VW shops and luckily 5 minutes down the road in Slough trading estate was Wizard Roadster shop owned by Peter Cheeseman (UK distributer for wizard roadsters in the UK) and also back then it was a place to hang out with other VW enthusiasts and a great source of parts and advice!!. When hanging out at Wizard the local eye candy was a red and white 4 seater 1771cc wizard done within the resto cal style and it was totally gorgeous (had to be as it was their promo car) you name it . it had it I must admit I loved my 66 but was so jealous of that car !!!!!!!! Any way it popped up in magazines on covers of books and where ever it was there were people photographing it!!! But then disaster struck………. Wizard roadster closed in the trading estate and relocated to Eton but it was short lived and I came out the scene sold my 66 to fund a flat and never saw that Beetle again!!! :@(.
Anyway many many years on (roughly 16 years) I take a route to work and as many people do I get stuck in traffic on the same road every day but I started to notice a car under a ripped cover at the back of someone's drive way and over the forthcoming weeks the cover started coming off and guess what !!!!!! it came to me that this was that stunning car from the past. I passed it day after day but just could not get it out my head so I had to knock on the door and ask the question!!!! When I was there I was allowed to have a look over it and I could of cried. The car was laid up in 2006 and hadn't moved since. The roof wasn't on and it was totally unloved. I COULD NOT LEAVE THIS CAR TO DIE OR GET SCRAPPED so I needed to save it. After a lot of toing and froing I managed buy it and get it on a low loader and was just handed the ignition key no history or anything. But it was worth it. and now its being cared for and brought back to life.

Believe me I don't want to sell as I have always wanted this car!!!!! I love the VW scene but I never intended to purchase another but could not resist this.
am also into the TVR scene and own a show 400SE and I also have a 10 month old baby so the wife says either the TVR goes or the beetle as I can only store 1 weekend car :@(
So the V5 is in my name the car is still beautiful. stunning and I would love someone to love and cherish this and take it round the shows again!!! THIS CAR TURNS HEADS. I HAVE HAD PEOPLE WALK DOWN MY DRIVE JUST TO PHOTOGRAPH IT AND ADMIRE IT !!!!!!
I'm not letting this go for pennies because its not your normal homemade shoddy wizard / beetle convertible and has got real history behind it !!!
Very easy quick stunning project ready for the summer !!!!!!
I have tried to cover everything on this bad boy but I'm not a mechanic. I have done this just for the love of these cars and there are so many mods on this car I must have missed loads. Also. as specified this is a vintage classic car so not in new condition and is a project !!!!!!
