Hi here I am selling my ford escort mk1 Mexico I have owned it for a year now and have done lots of work to it eg new floor pans. inner sills. outer sills. tc I do believe to the best of my knowledge that the front inner wings are original and very solid never been replaced or patched it even has the chassis number on top of the strut top but is very faint where I had the vehicle painted but can confirm that it is still there. As for the engine I have just had it rebuilt and re-bored plus 90 pistons new big ends and mains new oil pump. and have only done 200 miles since rebuild also it benefits from a high lift cam big valve head twin 40s. This is a very nice usable mark one Mexico type 49 shell. This is not a minter and am not asking silly money for it. I bought new wheels and tyres. new discs pads and brake calipers. replaced brake pipes. adjustable front suspension kit. kenlow fan. It has roll cage and brand new front seats with harnesses. rear seats have been re-covered in beta cloth. Now for the bad bits yes the bodywork does have blemishes in it and a few chips and dents (that's being picky) but looks very smart [2) roof lining is worn but not excessive [3} ignition switch is faulty but I have got a push button start (just haven't got round to fitting it) [4) exhaust blow from manifold [5) Speedo sometimes jumps about a bit  [6) carbs could do with setting up.

runs and drives very well. taxed and MOTed.   Real head turner.   Was on Blue oval stand at Classic Ford.   Only selling as I really would like to get a Escort Cossie or 3 door
