Hello. I am selling my Lotus Esprit S 2 1978. I brought it over from the UK in May 2011 with the intension of restoring the rare Esprit and seeing her back on the road. Time has got away and I need sell the dream. Designed by the famed Giorgetto Giugiaro while he worked for Italdesign around his design direction of polygonal 'folded paper' design. The Esprit has the enlarged 2. 2 Litre type 912 engine. The interior is set out in Aqua velour fabric. all original and very 70's. The exterior is the original black and gold piping. but she is not a JPS Limited Edition.

The front wind screen has a crack and would need replacing. Not to difficult to have a replacement manufactured as its simply flat glass with no curves Since it has been in my ownership it has never been attempted to start her up. It is being sold as a rolling restoration project. The Esprit comes with four new tyres and reconditioned brake callipers. The Lotus is stored in Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands - just south of Sydney by 160 kms. Reserve price is set low. Hope she goes to a good home and can be restored to her former glory. I have a file with the Australian Vehicle Import Approval. UK Registration Certificate in my name and shipping costs from the UK to Sydney. Kind regards and any questions. Alex
