The Speed 20 was introduced in 1932 & ceased in 1936.

Manufactured as a 6 cylinder car. producing 87 hp with a lowered chassis & triple SU carbs. resulting in an engineering masterpiece of it's day.

This car being a 1936 car the final model the SD (produced as SA. SB. SC & SD) & is one of the last produced cars of only 1165 total Speed 20's ever built.

The car is known to the Alvis register & paperwork from them & a car build record sheet confirms the car left the factory with the following details:

Being an SD model the car came with larger fuel tank. wider body & the option of a longer 3302 mm wheelbase.

The car today is not only sporting the same matching numbers & body type. Its is sporting the same colour & we believe it to be mostly original trim. however doors cards are believed to have been replaced.

The car has been re-introduced to it's original registration with the aid of the Alvis club.

The car was delivered new to Brooklands Motor Company in London on 06/08/1936.

An interesting item in the history file is what appears to be the original handbook priced at Seven Shillings & Sixpence

Today the car is in great shape.

The paintwork is blemish free & the chrome-work is great.

The interior is very original & the engine starts with ease.
