A very very original car that has had a kings ransom spent on the mechanics recently whilst pleasingly retaining its original Patina. Indeed the car comes with well over £60. 00 in recent bills covering seemingly every aspect of the cars mechanics. The history file is enormous & too big to photograph in its entirety. The car is fitted with the very rare larger 3. 5 litre engine giving it spirited performance

The body is a four door sports saloon by noted builder Charlesworth of Coventry. The car benefits from Marles Steeering box similar to MX series Bentleys.

Not for nothing did they give these cars the "Speed" Moniker. The car is extremely fast by 1930's standards & particularly long legged having been fitted with overdrive. The usual superb Alvis gear box is in situ & is an absolute pleasure to use; these gear boxes were state of the art in their day & are far advanced for their time akin to modern boxes. You have to drive this car to appreciate how sporting it is & how well it goes.

The car is finished in Black & maroon to the exterior with brown leather to the interior. The interior leather is beautifully patinated & original with the exception of the front seat bases. The door cars have a lovely art decco design to them. The car has a large sunroof that easily slides open. The car has a capacious boot with a fold flat lid allowing for carriage of additional luggage.

All in all this is a fast capable sports saloon that goes far better then an equivalent Derby Bentley. It is light to drive. wieldy & encourages spirited driving.
