This vehicle is located in Denver CO     Up for sale is this gorgeous example of a 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88.  This car was built by the world famous Gas Monkey Garage and featured on Discovery channel's hit TV show Fast N' Loud.   They found a 1950 Oldsmobile that had been well preserved in a barn since the 70's.   They put a new drivetrain in the car with a new 350 crate motor and 700r4 transmission.  Rebuilt the drum brakes all the way around.  New chrome wheels and whitewall tires.  New radiator. holly carb. alternator. etc etc  I have copies of the receipts that went into this build and there is 22k in parts and cost of car thats not including labor!   The dash was painted two tone blue/white with white vinyl for the interior.  The seats have a nice tuck and roll.  The car was then clear coated to preserve the patina.  This was the second car built on TV by GMG and its personally one of my favorites.  The only reason I am selling is make room.    I've prob put 5k miles on the car total.  I also have all of the original owners registration receipts dating up into the 70s.   Please feel free to email with any questions or offers.   This is an old vehicle. it does have a new drivetrain which makes it more reliable.  the airride was never installed i was going to have the original shocks rebuilt but never did.  Kanter sells the shocks and the rebuild kit.
