B The car features striking burgundy paintwork set off with an Old English White roof, and both are in excellent order. The chromework and trim are all in good condition and the wheel arches are all sharp and rust-free. The interior, the seats, carpets, door trim, and including the bootspace, is spotless, and incredibly, all original, adding to the desiriability and charm of the car.This Vogue is powered by the much-loved cast-iron 1622 cc engine and four-speed manual gearbox, which both perform faultlessly to give a rock-solid drive, so that the car has no difficulty keeping up with modern traffic. The front disc brakes, which were introduced as standard on the Mark 2 s, provide better braking, and the new tyres all round will provide plenty of grip. The car comes with a genuine Heritage Certificate confirming its date of manufacture. This is the rare wrap-around window model, making the car much more desireable, especially since these wrap-around Mark 2 s are now actually rarer than the Mark 1 Singer Vogue. These Vogues had a real larger-than-life appearance with sporty fins and plenty of chromework, and being such a good-looking car they are very much in demand nowadays and don't often come up for sale.
