for sale 1938 hillman minx
this rare prewar car needs to go to a lovely new home and be turned into someones pride and joy ! the car is in need of complete restoration but is all there . the hood is brand new and we are working to get the engine running this week!
this car would be valued at around 15-20k when done .
it has all the original paper work including a reg doc from 1949 and all the old tax discs and mots etc. his car was damaged in transit on both front fenders and the previous owner decided to make a claim for the car so it is showing as a cat d (vehicle damaged but repairable -insurer decided not to repair)
not that this matters to a historic vehicle of this age ! i brought this amazing piece of history to restore and bring back to its former glory but due to work reasons and the wife i cannot plough the energy and time into this
so iam putting it up for sale . iewing is welcome and i can also deliver nationwide(for a small fee)please feel free to call me on 07715252258 with any (sensible) questions or to arrange a viewing
thanks for looking !!
hoping to post more pics!!

As the advertisement must have been posted 4 - 5 years ago, I wonder whether it is still current. It is difficult to see the appearance, because even the main picture does not enlarge fully; and the others are blurred and do not enlarge at all. You say `complete' restoration - which I take to include mechanical units, chassis (springs, steering, etc.,) body timbers, panels and interior. Am I correct in assuming original registration? Please let me know how much needs to be done, as it sounds to be an expensive task, especially when I would have to pay others.
