Hillman Imp 1966 Very nice looking car in a lovely Forest Green Paint This car has been off the road for a fair few years while work has been done to bring the car back to some of its former glory It has had all rust removed to make a solid car. This does mean that its not an original rust free car and has had welding carried out to make good again. It has spent the last 11 months in my ownership having lots of new parts fitted. Its now on the road and drives nicely.New Parts Fitted:Rear Window Seals Rear Hatch Seals Roof Lining and Sun Visors Front Wheel Cylinders Nearside Front Wheel Bearing Wiper Blades Rear Hatch Stays Both Front and Rear Lights including indicators Windscreen Washer pump Air Filter Brake Light Switch Oil Pressure Switch Choke Cable Spark Plugs Carpet Set Both Door Seals Sets Window Fitting Kit Both Sides Rear Brake Shoes New old stock rear hatch Lock Washers Jets Fuel Pipes and Filter Condensor Lots of the car has been re wired, with everything working.Loads of other trim clips and old stock items along the way.The seat set is almost immaculate with just one little part showing the stitching coming apart. (Could be sorted easy enough)The wheels and hubcaps are in good condition.Engine wise, it runs sweet and starts on the button, cold or hot.The car is 95% Done with just a few bits missing. I have spent hours on this car and have got to the point now where I'm happy to let it go.The not so good bits:Rear Hatch will want attention soon, but still functions perfectly Second gear Synchro has just started grumbling when being selected, the car still drives fine and if your careful you can get around it.When the car has warmed up the clutch release bearing is noisy but again doesn't cause any issues. This could both be addressed with a gearbox swap.The bodywork across the front scuttle in front of the windscreen has cracked a bit from what I assume was a bad repair at some point.Speedo has good cable and all correct parts but has stopped working Thats about it for the not so good bits, I have tried to explain these as best I can but I would highly recommend viewing.Bank Transfer preferred payment method.Please No Time wasters or Dreamers, any offers will need to be backed up with a refundable deposit.This is an auction so you are bidding to buy.Professional Enclosed Transport Available.Located Stroud, Gloucestershire
