VW Mk 1 Golf 1.8 16 v GTi KR Engine Rare Early Small Chrome Bumper Soon To Be Classic (40 years old in 2 years)Here is a rare opportunity to buy this fantastic example of an early Mk 1 Golf with small chrome bumpers.This Golf has been lovingly restored and maintained by the previous 2 owners who have spent a small fortune in upgrading and maintaining this future classic. This car has been featured in several car groups and instagram over the years. The engine was replaced by a previous owner around 9 years ago and no expense was spared, he also had several upgrades done at the time, including a full body respray. I have 2 folders full of receipts, MOTs, lots of details of the items that have been added, such as electric windows, sports springs and the single wiper mod.The last owner has poly bushed everything on the car and had new coilovers fitted a long with many engine upgrades. The interior was completely stripped out and rewired too. I have a catalogue of photos showing most of the work that has been undertaken, he estimated spending around £9-10 k in the last 2 years.
