Peugeot 205 GTI for sale
Current customer rating:
Here we have my stunning 205 GTI finished in Silver Futura. This is my second 205 GTI after owning an MI 16 conversion which was great fun but had somewhat lost the originality leading me to look for a completely standard one. The power steering doesn't detract from the great handling either just makes it much easier around town and to park. I have not owned it long however I am soon going to be buying my own house unfortunately meaning I will have to sell this beauty. The car has clearly been very well looked after, for the last 20 years it has been always been garaged or dry stored. Currently it sits at a secure storage unit with a CTEK charger which will come with the sale. Its fortunate enough to have had the common weak points addressed such as the B-Pillars and sunroof vacuum seal which can be seen in the photos. Other spec includes:4 refurbished genuine alloy wheels + one full size spare speedline New front tyres (Toyo Proxies)New brake c alliper at the rear and 2 new front ones recently (new discs and pads too on both axles) Serviced and MOT'd New HT leads Re-Coloured carpet Refurbishment of seats (Driver side is starting to show some cracks again, I think it adds to the character)Yellow Fogs, not the cheap ones either Period Pioneer cassette, the parcel shelf is even in one piece not a 6 x 9 in sight Dealer fitted alarm with immobiliser 2 keys both of which start the car and open the fuel cap New OEM exhaust (I also have a Magnex one which will come with the car but not fitted)The sills are extremely clean, no rust I'd be confident in saying its had the engine "looked at" in the past because its pulls very well and the clutch bites just when it should Original documentation pack with Haynes manuals Overall it's a very clean car which has definitely been loved. Of course there are some small areas which could do with addressing such as the boot floor which as some minor surface corrosion (I had actually planned to get it professionally done and still will at the buyers expense). There is also a small patch on the boot lid, the thing that has stopped me fixing it is the fact that all of the glass on the car except the windscreen is original meaning it still has the etching for the reg number and supplying dealer sticker, i'd hate for the glass to be removed and damaged in the process. It would be a great car for someone to store and sit on as the value of these are only going one way but it is also a nice healthy example of a car to use frequently should you wish.
