1906 Peugeot Lion Type VA 2 seat tourer.

A delightful Gallic veteran manufactured by Les Fils de Peugeot Freres the sons or Armand Peugeot. in excellent running order. The car has been dated definitively as being of 1906 origin by The august persons of The Society of Automotive Historians in Britain.
Snappily finished in cream over chocolate brown the car presents beautifully. Comfortable brown buttoned leather bucket style seats snugly cosset the occupants & prevent unintended egress from the car. The 750 cc engine pulls (dare I say it). Lustily but we would not recommend race track use. The car is festooned with the usual brass oil running lamps acetylene head lamps & running board mounted acetylene generator. the lamps being care of Joseph Lucas.
The car sits on four beaded edge tyres mounted to wooden artillery style wheels. Under the bonnet the car is tidy with plenty of room for the 785 cc engine. The rear has a useful storage cubby under the flat areas behind the seats. On the steering column is a parp parp bulb type horn indispensable for those Mr Toad moments.
The car is eminently well suited to the Creepy Crawley run & also for a variety of other slower moving events. Even a quick perambulation as far as the local pub is a journey of pleasure & one is always well received for having dared venture out in such a contraption.
