Well its with a heavy heart that I have come to the decision to sell my much loved 1967 1600 cc VW Beach Buggy in the Meyers Manx style. The pictures don't do this car justice in its orange metallic flake, but I can tell you it looks freaking COOL! (and its got a bendy whip aerial) You certainly stand out, but in a good way. Like the original creator Bruce Meyers says you get "more smiles per hour". The amount of looks, waves, thumbs up you get and even pictures taken is ridiculous. The white Manx roof is also easily detachable with just a few bolts for that true open top wind in your hair experience. This is shown in the last picture, but that picture was taken before I replaced the seats.
Lots of work has been done just before lockdown.
New brakes all round.
Engine and gearbox removed to fix an oil leak, full seals and gaskets replaced.
New clutch whilst the gearbox was out.
Replaced the mechanical points, coil and leads with electric ones by Pertronix, Flame-Thrower 3.
Always been serviced and M.O.T'd which it passes with ease.
Tax exempt.
Cheap to insure.
The only thing not working are the 3 ancillary dials on the dash below the speedo. They were my latest purchase and I haven't had chance to plumb them in.
This Buggy is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end auction early.

You won't be disappointed, this is by far the best car I have ever owned. Even on wet days when I see it in the garage it just makes you smile. Enjoy the summer and all the admiring looks when you drive this down the road.
