1943 Ford GTB Navy "Burma Jeep" WW2

 I am selling this vehicle for an estate that has had it in a local heated museum for the last 20+ years. It was partially restored over 20 years ago and then placed on static display in a 15. 00 square foot heated building along with hundreds of other vehicles. including over 25 military vehicles. The vehicle was repainted Navy Gray when it was restored. and was driven into the museum for display. The owner of the museum passed away several years ago. and the family has decided to sell off the military vehicles and use the building for other purposes.

This vehicle was towed to my shop where new oil. gas. nbsp;and fluids were changed and a battery was installed. The engine is now running and the vehicle drives and operates as it should. although it has not been taken out on the highway and tested thoroughly. The engine sounds good and has no noticeable problems. and the clutch and transmission operate like they are supposed to. When it was restored. the original fuel tank was removed and not re-installed since it was a static display. I have had this vehicle operating on a portable fuel tank. and the original tank is missing so a replacement tank will need to be found and installed by the buyer.

The rear tires are also worn and should be replaced. as they were not replaced when it was restored. It is missing some other parts such as the front bumper and passenger seat. and I have included lots of photos to show the overall condition of this vehicle. With some parts and easy work. this will be a very nice vehicle to add to your collection.

It is located in the Portland. Oregon area and is available for viewing to anyone interested in taking a closer look.

It is being sold without a title. however I can help an Oregon purchaser obtain a title for it. I can help arrange transportation for out-of-state buyers.

These vehicles were used by both the Army and the Navy during WW2. however it was primarily used in the Pacific by the Navy. and is commonly known as a "Burma Jeep".
