1942 Ford GPW for sale

( I have now re-listed my GPW. The last bid was just over 17,000 on September 23. Good luck in bidding this time, I have a reasonable reserve price set)
* One of the best GPWs on the market today.
* Meticulously restored back in 2008, only driven 284 miles since then.
* Purchased from a professional restorer in VA in Aug 2009, in storage since 2011 because current owner went back overseas. GPW was started and driven on a regular basis during this 10 year storage.
* Everything works except a part on one hub section in the front needs replacing. Will replace before shipping or give a discount to the buyer.
* Zero rust anywhere, including the undercarriage.
* All original and period correct
* July 28, 1942 delivery date with original brass nomenclature plates

To be clear for those who are not familiar with the FORD GPW. This WWII collector's 4 x 4 is a Willys Jeep made by Ford in mass production from 1942 onwards. T he US government compelled Willys to hand over the blue prints of their Willys MB to Ford so that production could be ramped up for the US war effort, and to better supply European allies and the Soviet Red Army who were our actual allies during the Second World War. General George Marshall considered the Willys MB and the Ford GPW to be " America's greatest contribution to modern warfare."
