Triumph TR6 2.5PI (UK CP 1973) AND Spare Chassis

I have owned this TR6 for almost 20 years, but I'm hardly using it these days.

It is BMIHT certified and was actually built in Aug 1972 so is one of the last CP series.

TR Register registered.

Chassis purchased from a Lincolnshire firm about 4 years ago with the usual strengthening in place. This is nothing wrong with the present chassis, but I had always fancied doing a total rebuild at some stage, so bought it with this in mind.

I've also got a spare gearbox and overdrive unit (the current one is fine), clutch kit and a better boot lid etc. amongst lots of other bits that I have gathered together over time.

It had some paintwork on the rear wings and doors about 10 years ago but this was done so many times by the guy trying to match the colour that this has now cracked from the overfill along the contour (this is not rust underneath these areas).

It's a solid car with MX5 seats (I've got the original one's also, along with the original wheels and steering wheel) and it has a safety roll-bar fitted.

I'm entirely open to offers, but I'm keen to stress what is being offered here. This is a very sound and usable car but it doesn't handle or feel like a modern vehicle. It had an agreed insurance value of £16500 3 years ago.

I only want to sell the car and chassis as a single lot, with or without the other bits, but I'm quite prepared to consider a range of offers.
