Regrettably for sale due to lack of use Here is my Mk 1 3. 0 L Essex V 6 Granada. it is a 1977 so one of the last built. I have owned the car for over 5 years now and have carried out extensive works to it. including sandblasting the engine bay. stripping most parts of the car and replacing many wearing parts. The car also under went a full respray in 2011. of which is still looking mint although there are some small blemishes. but what do you expect for a 36 year old car! I had the car resprayed in a Tambora flame color of which isn't far of the original color but in my opinion gives a bit of flec and character to the car. The engine runs sweet with good oil pressure. and according to the previous owner was a ford reconditioned unit less than 20 k miles ago. The original automatic gearbox was replaced by the previous owner for Type 9 manual and a original manual Granada pedal box was used to carry out this conversion. Body and underneath is solid and has been well maintained and recently shultz and waxoil applied. The Car has been dry stored since I have had it and I have never had the heart to take her out in the Rain!I have fitted a set of 16" Mercedes Penta wheels and do have the original wheels also of which will go with the sale. There are a couple little things that need replacing on the car such as the sunroof handle (broken). headlining (tatty) and probably a couple other things of which i cant remember at the moment. The chrome is all there although some pieces are tatty with a couple of creases it is still presentable.

Hi,lovely car, in the pics it was sandblasted down to bare metal, what was the first coat you applied directly on the bare steel, what was it called or the product type, thanks
