1965 Ford Cortina Mk 1 1500. RHD Import from South Afriac with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration ghas been done and we will complete all Uk registration paperwork for the new owner. Very solid old car which is fitted with lots of GT bits and also has a set of twin 40 s on it.Will need a bit tinkering but very good old car.

Body - 4 Door Export spec Cortina shell with extra strut top bracing from new. Car has GT badging trim and guages. Very solid old car. Underneath has never been welded. Original strut tops inner wings, real wheel arches, boot. Good boot bonnet and doors. Has had a bit of a repair on front edge of sill which really wants done better and one tiny bit of drivers front floor that needs attended to. Overall though in really good order for its age and way better than something thats seen 50 odd British winters. Paintwork is Ok. Its tidy enough. Not a show winner but presentable.

Mechanics - 1500 Engine fitted with twin 40 s. Starts runs and drives. Would benefit from a basic service and the carbs may need fettled due to the different climate. Brakes and clutch are good. Aftermarket tramp bars been fitted.

Interior - Black interior. Good original seats , door cards, headlining, No rips or tears. GT guages but some have been swapped out for new ones.

Wheels - SA wide steels similar to Lotus but with an extra lip on the rim.

Good solid old car which would make a really nice solid example with only a minor bit of work. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
