THIS IS A 99% RESTORED MAY 1953 BEDFORD "S" TYPE TRUCK. ORIGINALLY OWNED BY THE GEC TURBINES FOR A FIRE TRUCK. SO HAS TRAVELLED VERY FEW MILES FROM NEW. THIS 3 OWNER TRUCK IS FITTED WITH A 5LT PETROL ENGINE. THIS TRUCK SPENT IS FORMER LIFE IN RUGBY. EXTENSIVE WORK WAS DONE TO THE WHOLE TRUCK JUST RECENTLY INCLUDING REMOVAL OF ALL THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND RENEWING. ALL THE REAR DECK AND RENEWING IN DOUGLAS FIR . ALL PARTS WHERE STRIPPED AND PAINED TO A HIGH LEVEL OF FINISH. THE UNIT ALSO HAS AN AUXCILLARY DRIVE UNIT FOR THE FIRE HOSE PUMP.  I ALSO HAVE THE IRONWORK FOR THE DROP DOWN SIDES. SHOULD YOU WISH TO FIT THEM. ALL PARTS ON THE TRUCK ARE FULLY WORKING AND IT RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL REG MARK. MOT EXEMPT AND ROAD TAX FREE THIS HAS ALREADY TURNED HEADS AT THE TRUCK SHOWS IN 2013. THE TRUCK HAS HAD 3 PREVIOUS OWNERS FROM NEW. . ALSO HAVE SOME HISTORY WITH THE VEHICLE INCLUDING A BROCHURE SHOWING ITS ORIGINAL FACTORY FITTINGS. SELLING DUE TO NEW HOUSE DEVELOPMENT ROOM REQUIRED. I WILL REQUIRE A DEPOSIT VIA PAYPAL AND PAYMENT CAN BE MADE ON COLLECTION OR VIA BANK TRANSFER.
