1978 CF BEDFORD
I'm considering selling my beloved Bedford. due to changes in my life and now having a family.
It will go for the right price otherwise I will keep it.
I've owned this Bedford since 2007. I can't give you any information about the previous owners. I purchased it as un unfinished project. it was a white shell with no windows or doors on it when I brought it.
Recently put onto club reg. no transferable.
-------Holden 202 with trimatic transmission. on dual fuel (tuned for gas) all round HQ stud pattern. front brakes converted to disc.
It's due for a respray and some rust prep work needs to be done. it's currently in storage out of the weather.
I will take some new photos when I next head out to where it's stored.
This is not your average Bedford. I was luck enough to have a very kind man who piped up the front disc brakes offer his help to me over 8 years ago. since then my new friend Trevor and I have:
* fitted a reco 202 (2015)* removed transmission for reconditioning* changed ratio of 9 inch diff to suit driving at top speed* fitted reco steering rack* upgraded braking system to LJ Torana booster and master cylinder * upgrade gas system * fitted steering stops* reconditioned radiator* replaced front springs with heavy duty springs and shockers* replace heater
Please be aware these photos aren't recent. possibly 3 years old. the van no longer has those tyres of the flare kit.
