Last year of the 1950's hardtop station wagons and widely viewed as the best looking of the Mercury models. this original California car has actually spent the younger part of its life at a Catholic parish rectory having been donated to the nuns by the original owner! Now it is worthy of being shown at the Peterson Museum or driving anywhere or both! All original options include P/S. P/B. P/W. A/C. PDL. AM/FM and all systems working including cigarette lighter (unused and new as can be-car never seen cigarette smoke-ashtray spotless see pics) and clock but A/C needs to be charged with your choice off R-12 (original) or R-134 a (for conversion) since new A/C compressor was installed.

I would never buy a car off Ebay unless I had the opportunity to look at it beforehand. You should at least have a car inspection so I welcome you to see the car first hand here in Paso Robles. CA most anytime during the 7 day auction.

Seller Notes:“ Restored exterior with recent first ever quality repaint with all woodwork like perimeter and laminate restored or replaced.

Front and rear Merc emblems. grill. individual M E R C U R Y hood letters. both outside mirrors. wiper arms. tail light housings/trim. fender tip ornaments and antenna have been replaced with NOS parts.

All other exterior bright works re-plated.

Original engine and compartment are detailed.

Interior is combo of very good original (as with any 81 K car) and restored.

Front seat needs work with provided NOS vinyls (see pics).

Very little work needed to be interiorly excellent.

Windshield has minor chip (see pics) but is in reproduction with blue band green tint for $499 plus installation.

Recent repairs include new Coker wide whitewall radial tires. brakes. wheel cylinders. power brake booster. carburetor rebuild. transmission service and a new A/C compressor (not charged).

Never hurt with no rust or fillers.
