This is a gorgeous car! Not many of these were imported in 1993. only about 600. Considered the last of the really good made Benzs. Built on what mercedes calls the W 124 chassis. Definitely collectible cars as well as wonderful drivers.
I used to do some repair work for a few dealerships in the area and whenever someone trades in a older car or something different they call me.
The dealership that called me had sold this about 5 years prior to a older lady who was now in financial distress and had to sell immediately. They don't sell older cars and called me. And I am glad they did! I have had 5-6 W 124 chassis cars but never one that drove this nice. What a wonderful machine. Always garaged She even provided me a recent Missouri safety inspection to go with it. It is a 13 year old car and I cant say it perfect but it is amazing shape.
The only thing I can fault for is the hood has been painted at some time because it has little micro cracks in paint most people would miss.
The A/C works and blows cold but doesn't always blow out the center dash vents.
Quite common to need a vacuum line replaced. Everything works as it should and I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the US right now.
. I do have the car listed locally so reserve the right to end auction if a local party is interested. Buyer will be responsible for a $500 PAYPAL or cash deposit .
Final payment will be cash or call to work out. I have done many transactions through Ebay and do not have time for scammers.
Any other payments will have to be discussed to see what works best for you and I.
