Mercedes 560 SL is spectacular condition. The market on

the 560 SL is absolutely red hot right now with 1989 being the most

rare and desirable model year and this

example is priced to sell. Very low mileage and original examples of

the R 107 Mercedes SL exceptionally difficult to find and draw a huge premium

in the current market. There is copy of the Auto Check report on this

car pictured below. It it totally clean and shows no accident

history. The low original mileage is verified not only

by the condition of the car. but also the clear Ohio title showing the mileage as "Actual. "

This 560 SL looks

outstanding.

runs great. and is and awesome driver. It comes with both the

soft-top and auxiliary hardtop. This is an excellent opportunity

to own a classic Mercedes that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an

unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for

more than the purchase price in years to come. The car come with

service record and stamps in the maintenance book. Some of

those maintenance stamps are pictured below included one

showing the car has had the 67. 00 mile service completed

already. Also included with the car are the original owners

manual. books. tools. convertible top wrench. spare tire and

rim. jack. and some service records. which are all pictured

below. This Mercedes is

finished in the beautiful and desirable color combination of

Arctic White (147) over Navy Blue interior

(272). This is the correct and original color scheme as

verified on the data tag pictured below. Please

Exterior

The Arctic

White exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the

photos. the paint has a brilliant gloss. deep shine. and smooth

finish. Both doors open and shut nicely it has that solid

Mercedes touch and feels like a vault door closing. The wheels are in

great shape with a nice finish and no curb rash. The tires have

about 90% tread ledt

and are

correctly sized 205/65 R 15. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally

excluded from the photos. There are some stone chip touch ups

and other very small blemishes around the car

that are too tiny so show up in the photos. but nothing that is

really noticeable from about 5 feet away. As one can seen in the many photos of the underside. this

560 SL is very clean underneath. We have also included specific

photos of the rockers. lower front and rear quarter panels. and other areas on the

car most prone to rust to show how nice it looks.

Interior

The Navy Blue interior of the 560 SL

looks absolutely fantastic. The seats are in excellent

condition with no tears. rips. or split seams. The seat is

not overly worn in the typical are on the driver's bolster

where the drier gets in and out. Please note that these

appear to be the original seats and skins. not some cheap

aftermarket cover or replacement. The carpet looks terrific

with no stains. rips. or holes. The original door panels

look great with no cracks or splits. and both door pulls are

solid and in tact. The convertible soft top is in good shape

with no rips or split seams. there is a very small spot worn

through on both side windows in the soft-top. All of

the gauges faces are crisp and the lenses are clear. The

dash is in great condition with no cracks. fading. or sun damage.

The wood trim looks nice overall with no fading there is an

area in the wood trim on the glove box that is cracked. This

car has never been smoked in and there is no aroma of cigarettes what so ever.

The original radio is included with the car and pictured

below.

The trunk is very clean and

nicely detailed with the original spare tire and rim.

jack. and tool kit with the correct Mercedes wrenches.

The excellent

condition of this all original interior is a huge testament to the

meticulous care and attention this Mercedes has received throughout its life.

Mechanical

This 560 SL

appears to be in great mechanical condition everything on the

car works and it is ready to be

enjoyed. There are some maintenance records included with the

car along with a receipts from 3 months ago for over $1. 00 from

the Mercedes dealer in recent service. The previous owner has

put over 250 miles on this car since October of last year. The engine starts right

away every time. idles smooth. and runs great. It is an

exceptional driver that feels nice on the road and at highway

speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating

on the highway up to about 65 mph. shifting through all the

gears. braking to a stoplight. and going through some curves.

Please note that it shifts well. runs great. there are no

strange noises or vibrations. and the car performs quite nice

overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side

or the other. There is no

blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does

not overheat. Also. the engine bay is clean. nicely detailed.

and correct as one can see from the photos.

Please note

in the video that all of the warning lights work

properly. They light up when the key is first turned on

and then go off when the engine is started. There are no

"check engine" or other warning lights that stay on.

The horn

works as do all the exterior lights. interior lights.

indicators. wipers. and fan. All of the gauges work. The a/c works and blows

cold. This Mercedes has lots of power

with the 5. 6 liter engine. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is

to drive this car. especially with the top down on a beautiful

day.

Overall

Condition

Overall. this 1989 560 SL is

in excellent condition and is a true bargain at our

asking price. The market on for the R 107 body style SL

Mercedes is very strong right now. particularly for the

560 SL's from

1987 to 1989 model years. with 1989 being the most

desirable and most rare with only 8. 51 units produced. This

Mercedes is a great value and will only appreciate

over time. Someone

could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and

sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal

effort.
