This truck is a model year 1987 M 35 A 2 C Deuce-and-a-Half! Why does that matter? Well. for starters. it means the truck is from the last batch manufactured for the Air Force and is newer than any other M 35 A 2 s. The late-model "C"s also include numerous upgrades. some very important. that other trucks don't have. For instance:
Dual circuit brakes (this is a HUGE safety improvement on a 14 K lb truck!!!)Drop sides (turns the truck into a flat bed. which is very convenient)Insulated steel roof (quieter and more weather proof than canvas)Factory installed heater Fiber glass side slats (vs. wood)A comfy driver's air suspension seat In addition to those options. the truck includes the following accessories:
Camo cargo cover with steel bows in excellent condition Singled out by flipping the rear hubs and installing 7 x Firestone 11 R 20 tires. These are a dramatic improvement over the very poor NDT tires. and also increase the top speed!24 V solar battery tender 24 to 12 v accessory inverter Installed VHF / UHF radio Canvas / plexiglas winter front 1. 00 lb crane installed in bed (removable) The LDT-465 multi-fuel engine runs great and the truck drives well. I purchased it to haul materials for a small business and am not using it enough to justify keeping it.
