This project has been a hobby for me and my son over the past 6 years. there are other V8 mini's around but we wanted to make one that was not compromised on looks or performance. it had to look like a mini. drive like a Mini and be useable. and very fast.   Although this is a modified Mini it's been built with service and repair in mind. all of the components likely to wear out are standard and off the shelf.

For me the fun has been in building the Mini. having used and enjoyed it for two seasons it's time to look for a new project.

This Mini can be driven anywhere. it can poodle around just cruising. be thrashed on a track or fly down the drag strip. I've never fitted slicks or the NOS system but it can still do a 13 second ¼ mile.   Top speed depends on the max rev limit set. each 1000rpm gives 20mph so with a 7000rpm limit you can reach 140mph. I've currently got the 8000rpm limit chip fitted.

Fully re-built and modified body shell with removable fibreglass flip front. fully welded front/rear roll cage.   Doors are steel with poly carb windows for safety. rear door is aluminium.   Rear subframe can be unbolted and the car lifted off. or the removal of two strut bars allows easy access to remove engine or gearbox.   Access to the front of the engine is via a removable bulkhead.

Mini World feature summer 2010. copy of mag included in sale.

Hi. I am interested in your V8 Clubman. Is it still for sale? As the pedal box and steering rack are standard Mini, a lhd conversion seems easy, or am I missing sth?.
