1984 American General 5 Ton. 6X6 Cargo Truck with new tires. 6X6 wheel drive works as it should. M923 Model. span >The engine is a NHC 250 also known as the 855 and produces 240 HP  The brakes are air. Also I had the tires upgraded to M923A1 super singles and have a spare super single in the bed of the truck.  . Alison 5 speed  Automatic Transmission w/ Overdrive. Transfer case is a two range High/Low Big lever on the floow. Axles are made by Rockwell which are the best heavy duty axles for off road use. All headlights/brake lights/markes work. Has a perfect spare tire in the bed of the truck and just needs to be placed where the spare is supposed to go and have equipment to do so. Power steering. ABS. Troop seat/benches in back of bed. Matching cargo cover. Drop side bed rails that sides fold down or can be removed to make a flat bed truck. Air over hydraulic brakes. ruck was a mid 2000's complete overhaul with new paint. WMO (door tags for modifications. tc) I just last week had a Military Diesel company go through truck from A-Z to give me piece of mind that I was selling a mechanically sound truck So a very recent service has just been completed and this truck is ready for someone to enjoy! wherever I have driven it. it has be a huge source of conversation by everyone who saw it so not only is she mechanically sound. a blast to drive but will draw attention wherever you take it! Note: I have done my best to describe this truck accurately in regards to engine. transmission and mechanics as I am not the most familiar with this type of vehicle so Please excuse anything I haven't described correctly. what I do know is that I bought it because it is awesome looking and fun to drive and its a good solid truck for whoever buys it!
