1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk
Originally painted green. the two-tone white/gold was done years ago and shows well.
Believe no bodywork had been done. Behind drivers door are some small paint bubbles.
The GH has not been highway or road driven in the year I have owned it.
Paint scheme is not original. Original paint was the rarer Green One paint chip about the size of a dime gone from top of drivers side rear fin All stainless in exceptional condition One small piece of stainless trim is gone on passenger side behind rear window and passenger window Pot metal in exceptional condition Floor and trunk pan are in exceptional condition as is balance of undercarriage Teal/green cloth interior is in very good condition Headliner is in very good condition. Any discoloration in pictures is due to lighting Dashboard in very good condition. Radio works but hums only Tires are in good condition but older All hubcaps are in good condition Power Brakes & power steering - The right front brake grabs now and then Windows are manual Mc Culloch Super Charger Electric Fuel Pump replaced 8-26-2013 forward of gas tank along with 2 inline filters Battery replaced approximately same date with 750 CCABody is straight Paint is in very good condition Passenger side hood hinge area is weak. Flexing is beginning to show. No bubbling of paint at vented areas or over headlights NOS ignition switch installed 9/20/2013 Autolite windshield wiper motor replaced 9/20/2013 Not interested in trading for any item at this time
