Hi!Offering this very historic and genuine Lotus '7'. Series 2 with the rare Twin Cam!. A Seven is very rare with the Twin Cam. most have the BMC motors. This makes the car very quick. an exhilarating ride! This chassis is in original condition. not hacked up by a previous owner. The 105 E was the original engine it came with from the factory (special Lotus head. but single cam with dual webers).

The engine was changed in the early '70's to the much better. and bigger. E 6015 Twin Cam that is in the car now. This same engine was then specially built up by Ecurie Canada to race spec in 1979 with dry sump (bored to just under 2 L) This allowed the car to win first place in the GT 1 class at the Montreal Grand Prix in '79. The engine is awesome. The car is stupid fast. but still road legal. You can peg it at 8 K rpms. This same engine was again rebuilt in 2004. Thanks.
