Red Renault 5 GT Turbo. Genuine car. has had lots of work recently done:
ENGINE:
New uprated head gasket fitted Uprated head bolts New Silicon Hoses Turbo Technics S 117 Turbo
New Radiator Low Temp Rad Fan Switch Comes with Spare intercooler (£100)
BODYWORK:
New Boot lid with paint All Sill work done All Rust replaced around windscreen with fresh steel including paint
OTHER: New Rear Wheel Bearings Original stereo re-fitted
This car is not perfect it has the odd car park ding/scratch but then it is getting on a bit. comes with ronal turbo alloys one of which has a dent in the rim (done by previous owner). it also has tax and mot (Around 10 months MOT and 4 months tax). Also i drove it to telford the other week in the red hot weather and it didnt miss a beat. that's a 260 mile round trip. Please be aware that the speedo is intermittent. just needs a new cable.
I've had this car now for a 1 1/2 years and even though I've spent more time working on it than driving it. I still smile whenever i see it. unfortunately my wife and I and also our daughter are moving to the outer Hebrides. and cannot take it with us as we own another car and a motorhome. and so i have to sell it. a few more years and these cars will be worth a fortune. i checked the other day and there's only 480 left on the road in the UK now!!!
