This is an opportunity to purchase one of the rarest and coolest iconic micro-cars ever made and an attention grabbing fun car! In the late 60's. Fiat collaborated with the legendary Turin based Siata - coach builder and race tuner. This resulted in the Siata Spring - a funky sports roadster that would echo classic pre-war English sports cars in design. but integrating contemporary Italian-fun-to drive characteristics. The original Siata Turin built cars are based on the floor plan and mechanics of the Fiat 850. The Siata Spring was hand crafted by Siata for only two model years -1968 and 1969. and approximately 3500 were produced. It is estimated that maybe 10% of the original 3500 survive today. In the past few years their value has risen rapidly.
This example comes from Germany and was imported in the UK in 1978. It has been family owned since! It is an orginal example apart of the front bumpers and the radio cassette. Garaged since 2006. this car runs well but needs a good home and some TLC ( more details on request). The hood is in good condition and I have both side windows. Overall. a great and easy little resoration project!
