 Here for sale is a Citroen 2cv based Lomax 224 Kit car. Finished in BRG with tan seats. The car was built by last owner and was used to tour France each year for a camping holiday. Sadly due to unforseen family circumstances had not used the car for four years. We have now got the engine running and it sounds very sweet. last owner assured me the little car had been lovingly looked after and maintained well as it was used regularly for long trips. So onto the car. It sports some very smart sporty wheel trims in fibreglass and running on good tyres. Car was built on Citroen Ami chassis. 602cc engineFloor gearchangeLomax rocker coversLuggage trunk on rearOpening removable rear panelSecret secure locked box at rear bulkheadFully gauged . Period seatsAero screensFull windscreen with what looks like new top mounted wiper motor. Hood and hood frame(not fitted)Will have new Mot prior to sale. Last owner assures me it was a very brisk little carDecent luggage space with removable back panel to give access to rear.
Negatives . The car is very usable as is but to be critical the paint is a bit challenged. some micro blistering on panel between bonnet and screen. a few paint crazes as per most older kits unless fresh paint. but it is not awfull !!! just as you expect for a car a few years old now. but still draws a crowd!!!!!!!!Key stuck in ignition but im working on that !!One aero screen is broken but om getting local company to cut another. Registered as Citroen Ami 8 convertible. Could do with new bonnet leather strap. or just remove it which we might do. Vinyl round dash needs re glueing in places. not ripped or torn
All in all a great looking car in good usable condition. not a 'trailer queen ' as with all kit cars there are always little bits to fiddle with which is part of the fun. Would consider p/x deal swap car / classic / bike /camper/ american/ british / jap or most things    TRY ME !!!!
