After 6 years of fun motoring I have decided to sell my Lomax. I bought it after it had been dismantled for a rebuild by the previous owner and put it back together with a load of new parts. Here is a list of the main things I have had done:

Body off repaint in Brooklands Green. New wiring harness New shock absorbers New pads and discs New high compression pistons and barrels plus a head rebuild New high performance Coil. leads and electronic ignition Chassis and suspension repainted New pressed aluminium number plates New mirrors New tonneau cover New floor cover Lots of other stuff I can't remember.

I have used it for a few shows and outings but have only managed to clock up about a thousand miles in 6 years. It has always been garaged. never been out in winter and rarely gets wet. The number is transferable and worth a bit of money but it suits the car so if the price is OK I would like it to go with the car. It runs really well with the electronic ignition and uprated coil giving much improved starting and low rev running. The higher compression pistons help as well. The gearbox and clutch work well. I easily get over 60mpg and with cheap tricycle tax and insurance at £100 fully comp it costs washers to run.

I have both original fly screens with the car but I added an extended one on the drivers side for extra weather protection - the small glass one can go back in if you prefer. The tonneau cover keeps you quite cosy if the weather is a bit inclement as you can zip it up around you. If you slide the seats forward you get access to a generous storage area in the tail so it can be quite practical.

The paintwork is very good but it does have a few small stonechips and one small scratch on the tail. There is a little spare paint which may come in handy at some point. The fuel gauge works back to front - full is E and vice versa. This will require the wires reversing on the sender unit but it amused me so I never got around to changing it.

I have had great fun with this little car and it always draws an interest when out and about. I am happy to answer any queries and you can get in touch on 0780 1232942 if you fancy a look. Thanks for looking.
