1971 Super Beetle Convertible
Nice older restoration. Just purchased and freshened up. This was an estate sale car.
Freshen up included: New Tires Brake Pads Brake Wheel Cylinders New Brake Master Cylinder Rebuilt Carburetor New Spark plugs New Ignition Wires New Coil New Ignition Switch New Steering Center Link New Turn Signal Switch New Heater Cable Repaired Emergency Brake Handle New Exhaust Tips New Front Turn Signal Lenses Fresh Oil Change New Steering Center Link and Tie Rods!
Engine Runs like a top. Just did a full tune up. Car sat for years. thus the need for the freshening. Clutch engages nicely. Transmission has no issues whatsoever. I'm sure there may be things that you will want to do to take this very stock 71 Beetle Convertible to the next level. but it is ready for your weekend adventures during the ideal season for top down travel.
The top and headliner are in good shape.
Carpets are in Good Shape.
Seats are in Excellent Shape.
Does not have a radio.
Paint is excellent when waxed. I did the hood and it shined up beautifully. I hate waxing. so I'll leave the joy of bug buffing to the next owner.
Not rusty. The pans and frame rails are solid. You may find a spot or two of surface flash underneath and there is one chip in the paint by the windshield. There are a few dings in the small aluminum around the belt-line. It has a couple of small hail dings on the hood.
The title is clear and signed. is still in the estates name. and has the Copy of the POA of the estate's Trustee. Ready to title in any state.
The car is solid and drives like a dream. This an extremely fun convertible.
