I bought one in 1971 it had 695 miles on it, it was stuck in 2nd gear. 30 minutes before closing at a dealer, just got my tax returns back and had a pile in my pocket.this you may not believe I only paid $575.00 for it. A 1/2 " x 12 " standard slot between the linkage and it was not stuck any more!!!

Writing in regards to the price of the scrambler and where you are located. I am in Texas. We had one of these,we bought brand new. My husband loved this car but we had to give it up for a station wagon ! Thanks .
